Policy / 01

Privacy, in plain language.

This policy covers the current no-account version of ExtendAI Video: what a job needs, where it goes, and how long it remains available.

Information used for a job

When you submit a job, we receive the video file or direct URL you provide, the selected operation and settings, job status data, and technical request information needed for daily limits and abuse prevention. The service turns the request IP into a salted one-way hash used as an anonymous user ID. The raw IP is not stored in the job record, and we do not ask you to create an account.

Storage and processing

Uploads and generated files are stored while the job is being processed and while its result is available. The selected provider receives the source and settings required for the operation. Provider credentials stay on the server. Metadata expires according to the deployment retention setting; stored files are removed or allowed to expire through the storage lifecycle configured for the service. Download important results to keep your own copy.

Unlisted results and share links

Results are unlisted by default and are not added to the demonstration gallery. Each completed job receives a random share token that cannot be guessed from a job number. The link is not published or indexed, but anyone who receives it can open the result, so share it only with people you trust.

Cookies and analytics

The core tool does not need advertising cookies. A privacy-friendly, anonymous analytics service such as Plausible may be used to understand page performance. If a third-party analytics product that uses cookies is added, consent will be requested before it is enabled.

Your choices

Only upload material you own or are authorized to process. For deletion, retention, provider, or other privacy questions, contact [email protected]. This policy may change when storage, providers, or legal requirements change.
